Kids Hope USA
St. Charles participates in the Kids Hope USA
mentoring program with about a dozen students from Columbine Elementary
School in Fort Morgan. Each child receives weekly one-on-one
attention that provides both a personal bond and academic tutoring by a
caring adult.
Mission Team
In
March 2003, the Rev.
Nancy Malloy and eight volunteers left Fort Morgan on St. Charles'
first international mission trip. During their ten days in San
Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic they helped to build a library at
La Escuela de San Esteban, an Episcopal school. In March of 2005
a second team--some the same, some new--went to Santa Fe, Dominican
Republic to help build a new home for a woman by the name of Kika.

Community
Thanksgiving Dinner
Members of St. Charles organize this event, which has become an annual
blessing to the Fort Morgan community. With the help of more than
80 volunteers from around the community, and some very generous
donations, the team fed 500 meals in 2009 -- an
increase of over 100 from two years before.
More to Come!
Members of St. Charles have a long history of active involvement with
Caring Ministries of Morgan County. Having recently become
involved in a feeding ministry for Denver homeless and working poor,
St. Charles members now share in serving lunch to Fort Morgan's
homeless and working poor at Caring Ministries.
